Youth Ministry Because our children are indeed our future, the Youth Ministry plays a vital role in our church. Our Youth Ministry seeks to bring up our children to have a meaningful relationship with God and our church family as a whole. Our youth program is organized according to a family based youth ministry model. In our youth ministry, we organize at least twelve youth events per year. These events are either of a spiritual, service, or a social nature. These events are divided among four core organizing teams. Each team is responsible for planning and carrying out their respective events. |

Benevolence Ministry
One way we intend to address grocery needs of the Adopt a Family project is by utilizing the services of the Angel Food Ministries (http://www.angelfoodministries.org). We will need people willing to collect the groceries from the distribution points (all in Burlington) and deliver them to the recipients. The Yard Sale is going to need organization, items will need to be collected and prepped, people will be needed the day of the sale to man the tables, and, of course, we will need plenty of items to “sell.” If you are able and willing to assist others on short notice by running errands, paying bills (church supplies the funds), or helping around the house, we can use your help. If the short notice is a problem, we will have the same needs with longer notice with our Adopt a Family project. The Homeless Shelter Teams can always use help. If you have the time, even if it is just for a single month, please sign up. Last but not least, there is a need for men and women to lead in all of these three areas. For this ministry to grow and these projects to be successful, strong leadership is needed. If you are interested in serving in any way in the Benevolence Ministry, please indicate so on the sign-up sheet at the end of the booklet.
